Obviously, the content of the book about divorce is not for the very young, for it carries, like a cinema ticket, an age certificate.

A book to be dipped into, to grow, learn and gain fortitude from.

Be assured that you are not the first and certainly won't be the last to go through divorce, one in three couples' marriages or cohabitation's end in separation in the UK alone. My hope is that the reader will resonate with the breadth of emotion expressed in the work, that the loss, grieving, lessons learnt, pain pooled, message taken will afford solace

Arranged and ordered, for easy use in the various stages of a divorce, from inception to aftermath. The collection is a self-help book. Written as poetry, the medium people turn to in times of peak change in their lives.

Ultimately, I want it read by the people who really matter; the children of the divorced for these are the very people for whom these lines were written. The soft world they knew, ripped from them and replaced, eviscerated tripe held up by bloodied fingers and thrust in their laps. They are the true victims, through no fault of their own. Some deal with it, some don’t. Some will need counselling, all will have their future lives shaped and remapped due to this one catastrophic act that they have no control over, don’t understand and in many cases, feel on some level personally responsible for.

My Ransacked Attic

A book about divorce, separation, love, estrangement, and failed contact.

Spawned out a need to communicate with my beloved children, written as a vent for my stultified pent up emotions it stands as a testament of my truth, my journey through a messy divorce separation, ultimate displacement and the eternal fall from grace into the abyss.
