Hot wet and wanting
The woman I covet is lying now, hot wet and wanting in my bed
All set, because of a couple of poems and something that I said
For me, if it’s not her, no-
Slam-
Willingly, like a shaky newborn motherless lamb just bottle-
Unerringly to the hinge of her legs, the scent of that body, I am led
Fecund, mellow fruitful, her body like a fertile lucid green riverbed
Curvaceous, receptive, luscious, gentle, a true thoroughbred
All notion of escape, flight or fight in her now long since fled
For the other, the man that she’s been with for years and had wed
All passion and yearning lies like a rotting garland on the ground;
trampled, dead
Like Ariadne’s lover Theseus, I shall continue to follow her single thread
For love, not some misguided notion of street-
A full-
Hot red and horny I want no-
As I’ve told her already, she’s the best thing since spreadable cheese
spread
No one thing I did, changed her face
No rock of ages, aging sages, slave wages
No offstage, onstage soliloquizing rages
